Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last term of junior high. Dina Meyer has two brothers, Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger brother. When she was between the ages of 9 and 16 the first time she was exposed to the world of modeling was when she first began modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting methods for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are also amongst those actors who've received this type of training. She got her first part in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, that required her to relocate out to Los Angeles. After a couple of months, she was offered the part in the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was the one responsible of almost every stunt and demonstrated herself as an excellent actress. Through the talent agent that was Matt LeBlanc that she was successful in securing a regular role on Friends.
